OVERVIEW

Gin Rummy is an ageless game of tactics and intelligence played with a deck of cards. The objective is to organize your hand into sets and runs, while discarding cards that don't match with any sets or runs. The game concludes when a player attains the target score, typically 100 points, making it a thrilling competition to outwit your rival and emerge victorious.


GUIDELINES

  1. Objective: Minimize the number of "deadwood" cards in your hand by forming sets and runs.
  • Sets: Collections of cards with identical ranks (for example, three 7s).
  • Runs: Consecutive cards of the same suit (such as 4, 5, 6 of Hearts).
  1. Scoring:
  • The opponent’s remaining deadwood points are added to your score.
  • Knocking or declaring "go gin" (having no deadwood) maximizes your points.
  1. Winning:
  • The first player to reach or exceed 100 points becomes the winner.
  • Prevent your opponent from reaching 100 points before you do!
